Our History
From humble beginnings to a thriving church community
Church Founded
Pastor Ken Blue founded Open Door Baptist Church on October 5th in Mountlake Terrace, Washington. The church began in rented buildings with a small group of faithful believers.
Permanent Location
After three years in rented facilities, the church purchased five acres on 44th Avenue in Lynnwood, establishing our permanent home.
New Leadership
Pastor Jason Murphy became Senior Pastor, continuing the legacy of faithful ministry and biblical teaching established by Pastor Ken Blue.
Continuing the Mission
Open Door continues to grow and serve the Lynnwood community, maintaining our commitment to bringing people from spiritual infancy to spiritual maturity.
