Bus Ministry
This ministry at Open Door brings Children to Sunday school and
"Open Door Children's Worship Service", that don't have transportation.
At this time our routes are in Lynnwood, Mountlake Terrace, Edmonds/Medowdale and South Everett.
 Open Door Baptist has had a Bus Ministry since we started the church in 1969 we have at times had 6 and 8 buses in the community picking up an average for 40 kids on each bus. This has been a great ministry for the community as well as those that volunteer for this ministry such as Bus Drivers, Bus Captains, Song Leaders and Bus runners.
- We have Washington state CDL licensed bus drivers, verity of workers to assist the children.
- Each rider is visited weekly by the bus captain and picked up at their home on Sunday Morning. On the way to church there is singing, games and Bible memorization.
- Upon arriving at the church, the children are taken to the various children's classes according to their age.
- After church (12:15 P.M.) the bus riders return to their bus. There is always exciting games and treats on the way home. We like to have cool competitions between the bus routes.
- Special Sunday's such as Piñata Sunday, Cow Boy Sunday, Sundae Sunday are just another to keep the Bus Ministry entertaining.
- The Bus Ministry is supported solely by the tithes and offerings of the members of the Open Door Baptist church our Espresso Ministry donations do help support this ministry.
