| Vision & Victory Banquet - January 30th
The Victory and Vision Banquet is our annual, semi-formal event where we project the future plans God has laid on our hearts, and rejoice in what has been done for our Lord throughout the past year. Each year we give special recognition gifts, either to our new members or our long-term members that have been faithful in ministry for 20 plus years. This year we are pleased to have Pastor Bill Bailey as our guest speaker. We are also excited to unveil the plans for our sanctuary remodel; dinner begins at 6 PM.

Music Night - March 7 & July 25
Twice each year Open Door hosts a special night of musical performance. Come and enjoy the very best presentation of music from the Open Door choir and individual performers on these two special Sundays, 6 PM.

Couples Retreat - March 18-20
Our second annual Couples Retreat will be held at the Westin hotel in Bellevue, WA. This is an exciting getaway for our married couples aimed at offering not only relaxation, but strengthening of our marriages. We are pleased to be able to offer an optional second night stay this year; our guests may arrive as early as Thursday to enjoy all that Bellevue has to offer.
 Our special guest speaker for the 2010 Couples Retreat will be Dr. Johnny Pope. Dr. Pope is the senior pastor of Christchurch Baptist Fellowship in Houston, Texas. In 2006, Dr. Pope and the church celebrated his 25th anniversary as pastor. Dr. Pope studied for the ministry at Hyles-Anderson College in Crown Point, Indiana. Upon graduation, he and his wife, Barbara, spent 10 years in evangelism followed by three years on the faculty of Hyles-Anderson. A favorite preacher for many, Dr. Pope is in constant demand by churches and conferences coast to coast, and spanning the globe. In the last year, he has spoken in over 20 states, as well as Canada and Germany. Dr. and Mrs. Pope have been married since 1973, and have four children.

Easter Drama - April 3 & 4
You won’t want to miss the all-new, 2010 Easter Drama. This is an excellent opportunity to invite your friends and family, as this entertaining drama will present the true meaning of Easter. There will be two shows available, both Saturday night at 7 PM and Sunday morning at 11 AM.

Missions Conference - April 25-29
It is the aim of the 2010 Missions Conference to burden our hearts for the fields beyond. Join us each night to hear our special missionary guests. The meetings will be held every evening at 7 PM, with a fellowship dinner for the entire family prior to each service at 6 PM.

Ladies Spring Fling - April
Join us in April as we fling into spring with this special day just for our ladies. Share with us some good food, fellowship and the joy of saying “good-bye” to winter.

In 2010 Open Door is proud to sponsor a trip to Israel. This twelve-day excursion will take us to all the major sites of the holy land, and transport us back in time in this amazing land of the Bible.

Freedom Celebration - July 4
Join us this year in celebrating our freedom on our nation’s 233rd birthday! We have a family BBQ, cotton candy, popcorn, snow cones and much more! There will be live patriotic music, fun games for kids of all ages and a great opportunity for all to get involved. Spend this special day with us!

 | Summer Camp - July 12-17 & August 16-21No summer is complete without camp! We are proud to attend Camp Northwest in Mossyrock, WA each year, and your children are sure to have a blast during these great weeks of fun and focus on the Lord. In 2010, children’s week (for grades 3-7) will be July 12-17 and youth week (for grades 7-12) will be August 16-21. Don’t let them miss it- send your kids to camp this summer.

Father & Son Camp Out - July 30-31
This will be our second annual Father & Son camp out. This event is for all ages to come and camp out overnight! Don’t have a son? Is your father not with you? Come anyway! All of our men are invited to attend. You can count on a bonfire, singing and a great time of male bonding.

 | Bible Conference - August 22-26
Get "filled" with God's Word at our 2010 Bible Conference! With a line up of special guest preachers and great music, you are sure to receive a blessing! Our conference begins Sunday night at 6 PM. Monday through Thursday there will be a fellowship dinner each night at 6 PM, and service will begin at 7 PM. This year we will offer something entirely new. On the Saturday following our conference, August 28th, we will hold a special men’s service at 6 PM.

First Annual Family Golf Venture - August 28
 In 2010 Open Door will host its first annual golf extravaganza. The entire family is invited to join us in a day of golf and fellowship beginning at 9 AM.

 | Round Up Day & Chili Cook-Off - September 26
This will be our second annual chili cook-off, and we are sure the competition will be smokin’! On this special Sunday, wear your western attire, make your best chili and join us for a great day of down-home fellowship. Don’t forget to invite some friends to join in the fun.

Men’s Retreat - October 1-2
Our annual Men’s Retreat is always a great time. These two days of preaching, singing, and fellowship around God’s Word are sure to be a blessing to men of all ages. You will not want to miss it.

On this special Sunday, Open Door will celebrate 41 years of ministry in the Lynnwood area. Please join us in rejoicing over this faithful testimony.

Children’s Drive-In Movie Night - October 30
Each year our children’s ministry gathers cardboard boxes from far and near to transform them into cars. They “drive” them to our Fellowship Hall to watch a movie and eat hot dogs, popcorn and candy! There are games, fun and prizes for all. Your kids are sure to have a blast!

 | Northwest Youth Conference - November 4-6
Every year our teenagers attend the Northwest Youth Conference in Portland, OR. This three-day conference is hosted by the Greater Portland Baptist Church and offers not only great fun, but also phenomenal preaching by speakers such as Dr. Johnny Pope and Pastor Steve Robertson. This is a great spiritual opportunity for your teens.

Christmas Concert - December 18 & 19
The Open Door choir will present a wonderful program of Christmas music for your listening pleasure. At this special time of year, when people’s minds turn to messages of peace and joy, take the opportunity to invite a neighbor or co-worker to this special event. There will be two performances: Saturday evening at 7 PM and Sunday morning at 11 AM.

 | Ladies Cookie Exchange - December
Don’t miss our third annual Christmas Cookie Exchange. Bring cookies by the dozen (as many as you want) and exchange the same amount with other ladies in our church. This is a great opportunity to fellowship, get to know others and enjoy some delicious and diverse treats of the season.

Watch Night Service - December 31
What better way to bring in the New Year than by watching for the Lord’s return? At this special service we will take communion together, as well as share in special music, preaching, skits and fellowship together. The fun will begin on this Friday evening at 7 PM. Services will end by 10:30 PM for those who wish to travel home early; the rest are invited to stay and us in celebrating the entrance of 2011.
