The women of Open Door like to have fun; many different groups of women get together for coffee, play dates, shopping, and other fun events.
During the year we have our main events:
Mothers' day Tea -
We have nice theme, a speaker, time for chatting, music, interactive games and snacks. This event brings our women together as we work together putting the event on and ministering to each other.
Friday Night - Ladies Fellowship
At this we try and pick a fun theme, that we can have a fun skit, group interactive games, one year we had a model at each table and the rest of the ladies were clothes designers that was a lot of laughs and fun, our speaker was a local lady who grew up in our church and is now a Pastors Wife. We do our best to have lots of food and fun for those coming from work.
Christmas Cookies Exchange -
We bring our cookies and then exchange them with others. Bring your recipes and dress "Festive" we have a dress up contest. "Ms. Bright and Bold","Ms. Christmas Classic" and then "Ms. Out of this World".
Mom's Group -
For our Mothers with children (infants thru school age)We can always learn something new from someone. The children have a fun time playing with each other and it give mom a chance to talk with others about more then "wants & needs" of the little darlings.
Ladies Bible Study -
For the studious types this part of the ministry is a work in process. Our goal is to have one in the day time and one at the night time for our ladies that work during the day.
