Our church is on a mission to bring families from spiritual infancy to spiritual maturity. To better reach this goal we have added Home Bible Fellowships to our ministry to help more effectively minister to each other by building relationships and studying the Bible together.
Our goal for Home Bible Fellowships is to build relationships that help close that door of "We just don't know anyone at that church"; our small groups to help build lasting friendships and a be a place for spiritual growth. We all need people we can go to for help when times are tough and to celebrate when things are good.
Our Home Bible Fellowships meet twice a month in homes throughout the community. Group topics include studies on Marriage, Growing in Christ, Spiritual Disciplines and books of the Bible.
All groups are open to new members and new groups and new studies are starting all the time.
The structure for these groups is found in the book of Acts 2:42-47
- WORSHIP
- We pray together, We sing together, We study God's Word together - These are the forms of Worship that take place in our Home Bible Fellowships.
- FELLOWSHIP
- We plan special events, birthday celebrations, BBQs, Christmas celebrations - These are ways we bring Fellowship in to our Home Bible Fellowships.
- DISCIPLESHIP
- We have Bible study together, we discuss Scripture and attend church services together - These are ways we have Discipleship in our Home Bible Fellowships.
- SERVICE
- We have ministry projects, we organize meals for group members in need, we do our best to server each other, like Jesus did - That is our form of Service in our Home Bible Fellowships.
- OUTREACH
- Our group is open for new people all the time, we may be a click but we are an open click - That is how we put Outreach in our Home Bible Fellowships.
This is our structure for our groups and our goal is to reproduce it in our daily lives. In small group, you can ask questions and hear others share their insights. You will discover ways to apply God's Word to your personal situation and that happens best in a Home Bible Fellowships. We don't need just another lesson we need changed lives!
